Story of The Claypool Lennon Delirium | Sean Lennon + Les Claypool Mini-Documentary
– Jul 8, 2025 –

One of history’s most unexpected but totally satisfying musical collaborations is the bonding of Primus frontman, Les Claypool and Sean Lennon, the talented offspring of one of rock music’s most legendary singer-songwriters.

Les and Sean began jamming together during a tour with Primus and The Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger in 2015. They bonded over Sci-Fi, psychedelia, and prog rock, and Claypool invited Lennon to his home studio to see what kind of weirdness they could come up with.

Inspired by bands like Pink Floyd, King Crimson, and Rush, the duo created “Monolith of Phobos” in 2016, an EP of covers in 2017 called “Lime and Limpid Green,” and a second studio album called “South of Reality” in 2019. A new album is likely going to be announced by the end of this year of 2025.

David Bowie invited them to appear on Midnight Special and they recorded 2 albums with production by Tony Visconti, “Fandangos in Space” and “Dancing on a Cold Wind” before going on a long tour in the US.

They opened for Jethro Tull on the last few months of the tour then when the tour ended and funds ran out, they settled in Massachusetts, recorded a final album, “The Gypsies” and ended the band in 1975 due to stacking difficulties including a major injury. John Glascock joined Jethro Tull before his unfortunate death in November of 1979.

Story of LINDA PERHACS | Mini-Documentary on an Unknown Psych-Folk Legend!
– Jun 29, 2024 –

In 1970, a dental hygienist from Los Angeles released an incredibly unique album but was never in the spotlight until the modern internet era brought her out of obscurity. More than 4 decades later, Linda Perhacs finally performed live and released 2 follow-up albums after turning 70 years old. Film composer Leonard Rosenman produced Linda’s 1970 album, “Parallelograms.”

It contains a lot of gentle folk music with very interesting melodies and modal sounds with moments of psychedelia and even utilizes sounds that Leonard Rosenman had access to because of his work on Sci-Fi Movies. The title track is their attempt at creating a sonic sound sculpture that moves around the listener.

Along with Fernando Perdomo and Chris Price, she released an album in 2014 called “The Soul of all Natural Things,” and she released another album, “I’m a Harmony” in 2017 with the same production team and the addition of Pat Sansone of Wilco.
